About us
The brand Sookee has been named after my brother Sukhi who was born with Down Syndrome. He was an inspiration to everyone he crossed paths with and filled my families life with nothing but happiness, strength and love.
He had a cheeky yet loveable character and always had a smile on his face. Growing up came with many challenges but my love for him allowed me to adapt to his lifestyle and support him. Unfortunately, as Sukhi grew older he developed Crohn’s Disease which resulted in him being in pain for weeks to months at a time, however, he did not let this bring him down and he continued to live his life to the fullest.
Sadly Sukhi gained his wings in 2019 aged 25, following a long battle of Bowel Cancer. Losing him turned my world upside down but I promised him I would continue to celebrate his life and show how special he was to me and my family.

Our Aim
My aim is to continue my brothers legacy and to raise awareness of how much love and joy that people with Down Syndrome bring through fashion
We donate 5% of every purchase to Solihull Down Syndrome Support Group. This is a parent led charity that provides support and enjoyable network events for families and carers caring for a person with Down Syndome
